Watermelon is the ultimate summer cool down snack. But with these recipes you can take it to the next level with sweet, a little sour and hint of ginger, making a delicious and beautiful cocktail. And they are easy to make!

What you need:

a juicer OR

a blender

a nut milk bag

a bowl

Watermelon Basil Mock-tail

(makes two servings)

2 cups watermelon

5 large basil leaves

1/2″ knob ginger

3 tbs lemon juice

1/4 cup of water (or more, to taste)

Watermelon Sage Mock-tail

(makes two servings)

2 cups watermelon

5 large sage leaves

1/2″ knob ginger

3 tbs lemon juice

1/4 cup of water (or more, to taste)

How to make them…

If you have a juicer…

Simply juice all the ingredients and mix in a little water at the end to get your desired taste. I personally like mine really sweet and I love a strong ginger taste. But you can slowly begin to add a little water if you want.

If you do not have a juicer…

Add all of the ingredients except the water into your blender. Blend until all the ingredients are fully mixed together. Holding the nut milk bag over a bowl, pour the blended mixture into the bag. Squeeze the bag until all of the liquid is drained out. Pour into a cup and add a little water to get your desired level of sweetness.
