Classes are great for All Levels.

We truly believe that yoga is a powerful tool that can help us heal individually which can then translate into healing the world around us. It is our strong belief that during these difficult times it is more important than ever for everyone to have access to this powerful healing tool. Heres How It Works

 

  • These are LIVE classes. Each class will be held through the platform ZOOM. You will need to download this onto your device prior to the class starting. You can do so here.
  • You will receive  an access email with a link 30 minutes before for group classes and the day before for private classes. When it is time for the class to start click this link and it will launch zoom directly on your device. If this does not work you can launch zoom, click “Join Meeting” and copy and paste the meeting ID and password provided in the access email.
  • If you are using a tablet/cellphone/iPad etc. make sure you allow access to your microphone and click “Call using internet audio” when promoted. If you are using a computer make sure to click “Join with computer audio” when prompted.
  • Each group yoga class is 35 minutes long and private classes are 75 minutes and start promptly at the scheduled time. NOTE: Group classes do not include a meditation or savasana due to the short amount of time. You will receive an email with recommended meditations to do before/after the class and I will prompt you into savannas and then I highly recommend resting in here for 7-10 minutes after the class as well.
  • I recommend keeping a pillow, blanket or any yoga props you may have nearby to use if needed.

“I don’t have a yoga mat.”

Don’t worry! Although it is ideal to have a yoga mat to use during live classes, you don’t need one. Here are a few ways to enjoy and benefit from live classes without one:

  • Use a carpet or rug
  • If the weather is nice, get outside and use the grass! (There are so many more benefits to practicing this way!)
  • Try it on a hard floor. This may not be ideal for all poses, but you can always keep a pillow or blanket near by to slide under your knees, head, back, etc. when needed.

These options will work, but for a regular practice I recommend getting a mat as soon as you can.

“I’ve never done yoga before.”

Thats okay! These classes are designed for beginner and intermediate levels. I offer descriptive alignment cues and various variations for all asanas (poses) so you can feel confident in doing these poses on your own without added strain or tension.

“I’m not flexible/strong.”

You don’t need to be! There are variations for all of the different asanas (poses) that will allow you to get into each one in whatever is available to you. Some days you may realize you are a little more flexible/strong than others. Some poses may come easy to you one day and be impossible to get into in the next. You may be able to a pose perfectly and your best friend may not be able to get into it all. We are all at different levels of strength and flexible. The beauty of yoga is there is room for everyone at all levels. All you need to do is show up!

“I didn’t receive an access link.”

“How do I get a refund?”

For regular classes partial refunds are available up to 24 hours before the class. A 10% service fee will be taken off the cost of the class. Unfortunately refunds are not available for the 5 Class Passes. If you would like to request a refund fill out a contact form here.
