The truth of sustainability

In this episode of What’s the Tea?, we connect over the love for our planet’s biodiversity through a sustainable and (whole)istic lense. Join us for an inspiring episode with our first guest, Ben Merrick who warmly encourages us to come closer to the Earth by bringing awareness to our individual dynamic worlds

Sustainability is a huge buzzword right now… but M.K reminds us that buzzwords begin because they hold value & worth

When we are talking about sustainability, we know may feel confusing or overwhelming. There may be questions running through your head like where can I start or can I even make a difference?

The truth about sustainability is unraveled in this episode as our guest Ben, teaches us the thread of sustainability is actually honoring the local ecosystems and environment

“What does sustainability mean? Sustainability wraps everything into one simple word and I realized how confusing that is and I want to make it more clear and more distinct. I realized one of the biggest dilemmas is that although we all live on Earth, we come from different worlds. That’s why I also chose Coffee today and am introducing this idea of Pluriversal politics as those two are almost synonymous” – Ben

In today’s episode of What’s the Tea?, we connect over the love for our planet’s biodiversity through a sustainable and (whole)istic lense

Join us for an inspiring & motivating episode with our first guest, Ben Merrick who warmly encourages us to come closer to the Earth by bringing awareness to our individual dynamic worlds Our guest, Ben Merrick, obtained his Master’s Degree from Lund University in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science and, while studying, was the Chairman of Hallbart University at Lund University. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Webster University in Biology with an emphasis in Biodiversity. Ben enjoys spending his time reading several philosophers, and finds personal solitude through snowboarding and camping. His fascination with Nature led him outdoors and it is the natural world that encouraged him to pursue science and found the sustainability consultancy, Orkydaceae
