I love trying new foods. I get so excited when I make a new recipe or find a new food to incorporate into my recipes and they come out great! It’s a lot of fun to play around with foods.

Dragonfruit is one of the exotic foods that I love incorporating into my diet. It has the texture of kiwi and a taste similar to a not-so-sweet melon. It is filled with many phytonutrients such as vitamin C, healthy fats, B vitamins, protein and carotene.

Vitamin C is great for your skin! It is filled with anti-aging properties. It helps to repair damaged tissue and fix deep lines that cause wrinkles! It has many other benefits as well.

Dragonfruit is an “exotic” fruit but its becoming easy to source.. You can find it at some Stop n Shops and Whole Foods occasionally has it as well.

In the past I have just added it to fruit salads, but I wanted to do more with it so I came up with a Dragonfruit Pudding Boat recipe and it is delicious! You can check it out on the Goodies page. The recipe is a twist of classic chia pudding incorporating dragon fruit!
